From the head teacher

"Al Yasmina is an inspirational community with our values of Pride, Aspiration, Respect and Trust at its heart. All children can expect to enjoy the challenge of academic rigour and to focus on acquiring excellent literacy, numeracy and handwriting skills, but we also understand just how important it is for all our children to develop tolerance, resilience, confidence and humility. It is about being PART of our community and we place equal emphasis on this part of learning. Since 2008 Al Yasmina has taken its place as part of the family for all our families and this is a tradition I am very proud to continue as Principal".

Dr Tim Hughes, Principal

Quotes from the parents

"I always knew that there was a lot going on in the school, but I had no idea of the breadth of activities until I read this newsletter. The school should be proud of its pupils and the range of opportunities it makes available to them. Well done." – Year 8 parent
