Playgroup The playgroup is held four days a week. Children and parents participate in a warm and nurturing environment. Children play together allowing them to develop their social skills. Pre-Kindy and Kindergarten Free creative play is used in the Pre-Kindy (2 days per week) and Kindergarten based on the house and garden. The activities that have a seasonal theme Have been carefully chosen as the foundation for literacy and numeracy and academic learning in the primary years. Primary School Reading writing and numeracy are more formally taught in Class 1 and 2. Games and practical experiences are used to teach children and throughout the primary years classical stories play a role in educating children about the world. Art music and drama are also an important part of the children's education. In the early Primary years the academic focus is on subjects such as English mathematics Human Society and its Environment. In the latter Primary years the areas of learning expand to include a range of subjects including geography science physics and algebra.
