Transforming Learning

MLC School's educational program transforming Learning focuses on the whole person flexible learning and innovation. Shifting the emphasis from teaching a class to helping each student become as effective a learner as possible sees seamless use of technology and connection with teachers and learners all over the world.

Online Learning

The school's 1: 1 laptop program from Year 5 has operated for 12 years. All girls from Year 5 onwards have their own laptop computers and girls from PK-4 have access to a mobile laptop laboratory. Our online systems provide students with an opportunity to develop cyber-leadership skills in the areas of community management mentoring and more.

Facilities

In line with our philosophy of embracing innovation and providing a learning environment that encourages excellence in all areas the MLC School Council is committed to developing state of the art facilities that are flexible student centred and have very high levels of community use. These include the new and improved Junior School facility aquatic Centre independent Learning Centre and Music Centre.

Co-Curricular Programs

At MLC our co-curricular activities and programs provide valuable learning experiences through practical situations involving teamwork sportsmanship winning and losing and hard work. The Co-Curricular Program activities include Dance drama & Speech debating & Public Speaking music sport sRC round Square exchange and Outdoor Education. These activities have long been recognised as a way for students to indulge a passion try a new skill learn and develop leadership social and organisational skills and to provide service to the School and community.
