Language of Instruction English The Scots College is a distinctive Australian school that defends the honourable traditions, adventures and learning of boys. We exist to inspire boys to learn, lead and serve as they strive for excellence together. Scots has been raising fine young men since 1893.

The Scots College is more than just a school for boys. Academic excellence is critically important, and our record demonstrates our success. But Scots aims for an even higher goal - we prepare boys to succeed in a world that is constantly being reinvented.

Our deep understanding into how boys grow and learn is captured in our Brave Hearts Bold Minds philosophy. We support every boy, at every stage of development, to become confident, well-grounded young man of integrity. They will become the fine young men of the next generation who will, in their turn, reinvent their world.

Our Christian mission and values frame our quest to nurture wise young men, with a worldview that encompasses knowledge of the past, perceptive insight into the present and innovative thinking about our global future together.

Scots boys will have, from the very earliest years, a variety of pathways that will allow them to express and develop their gifts and talents, within a holistic philosophy of education - Brave Hearts, Bold Minds. Physically, boys have a range of sports and individually tailored challenges in order to develop confidence, team spirit, and their leadership potential. Spiritually, boys are challenged to think about the big questions and how these relate to their lives, relationships, and ethical dispositions. Academically, boys can choose from a range of pathways which will take them through to the highest recognised university entry points, through alternative access schemes, or into industry and professional life in ways which best suit their learning aspirations.

This is the Scots advantage.
