Trinity Grammar School is an Anglican day and boarding School for boys with its Preparatory School (Pre-K to Year 6) at Strathfield an Infants School at Lewisham (Pre-K to Year 2) junior School (Years 3 to 6) middle School (Years 7-9) and Senior School (Years 10 to 12) all at Summer Hill. Since its founding in 1913 trinity Grammar School has forged a reputation for outstanding academic results acaring pastoral programme innovation in the creative arts and an emphasis on both traditional and community sports.

Facilities

Trinity Grammar School is committed to providing a breadth of educational facilities that will cater for the array of educational needs that will arise in the new millennium. Trinity Grammar School facilities include: Modern classrooms incorporating Smart Board technology; The School of Science which incorporates facilities for Chemistry physics biology and Geology; The Roderick West School of Music which has dedicated Orchestra band and Choir rooms music Classrooms as well as teaching practice and recording studios. The Trinity Grammar School Design Centre caters for Technology and Design and the Visual Arts in their own purpose-built facility which incorporates the Delmar Gallery. As well the Founder’s Building features a Library aPastoral Care centre multi-media suites and Experimental Drama theatre. The Preparatory School at Strathfield has the Milverton Infants’ Centre as well as an Indoor Gymnasium and Music Centre. The Trinity Grammar School Junior school at Summer Hill has access to Senior school facilities and has a dedicated Infants’ school at Lewisham. The provision of first-rate academic and creative and performing arts facilities is complemented by a number of fine areas for sport. There are two grass ovals and a new FIFA approved synthetic football pitch athletics training track and indoor training centre. The Gymnasium is large and modern and there is an eight-lane indoor swimming and diving complex. Trinity Grammar School also has an Outdoor Education Centre at Pine Bluff a1200-hectare property on the Abercrombie River near Crookwell.

Academic Programme

A wide-ranging curriculum at Trinity Grammar School caters for all students – from the intellectually gifted to those more interested in vocational courses – and is arguably the most extensive curriculum of non-selective Independent Boys Schools across NSW. From the Primary Years and Middle School Programs through to the Higher School Certificate international Baccalaureate Diploma and Trinity Enterprise Education Programmes in Years 11 and 12 trinity Grammar School boys can access demanding challenging courses that promise real academic accomplishment achievable through hard work and good teaching.

Sport

Involvement in sport is a compulsory part of a student’s program at Trinity Grammar School with an emphasis on participation as well as performance. The range of sporting activities provides boys with the opportunity to succeed and develop through to the elite level in one or more of many different sports. The emphasis on students working in teams opens further avenues for leadership and cooperation.
