Marymount was founded by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) in 1923. Today, it is the oldest international school in Paris and part of the RSHM Network of Schools, which includes 19 schools and a partnership with several missions in Africa. Marymount Middle School provides students with many opportunities - inside and outside the classroom - to develop their academic skills, acquire knowledge and understanding, and explore special talents and interests. Special attention is focused on meeting physical, social and emotional growth, as well as academic development. Field trips, both in France and abroad, are organized for all students every trimester. The English as an Additional Language (EAL) program ensures students whose mother tongue is not English are seamlessly integrated into the classroom. The Learning Support Services program includes the ILC (Individualised Learning Center) which delivers a program for students with diverse learning needs.
