The goal that IAL has is to empower
learners so that they enjoy the experience and can achieve their goals.
Our tutors act as coaches as well as subject matter experts. For most of
IAL's learners, employment is the desired outcome and IAL provides the
service to assist with employment outcomes. In Hospitality, Health Care
and Contact Centre we offer work based experience. For Contact Centre,
we actually run our own contact centre providing a sound environment for
our learners to experience real time contact centres.
We offer our computing students opportunities to get hands on as often
as possible with networks, computers and systems. The lab is set-up for
them to practice until they can do whatever job they are trying without
a problem.
IAL continues to work to achieve
quality and to maintain industry relationships. IAL's management and
director are New Zealand residents with a passion for learning and
developing people. The sales staff have experience of being where our
learners are with the choices they need to make and our academic staff
are the best that we can find and develop with industry as well as
academic knowledge. IAL has a robust support system for all learners.
IAL's Learners
IAL learners come from many
backgrounds. Every Pacific Island nation is represented on the campus.
We have Maori, Europeans, and Asians from all over Asia. Skin colours
vary from pale to dark. Age varies from 18 to 60. Academic backgrounds
include recent high school graduates, non-graduates, back-to work and
people with other qualifications that are not taking them in the
direction they now want to go. Many of our learners have been single
parents. Many work and juggle home, family and business commitments
along with their study. Many are also just enjoying study with part-time
work to pay for the extras. The advantage with IAL programmes is that
the classroom based are fixed times and the flexible can work around
schedules of life and work.
So if you want a nationally recognized
qualification from a private tertiary education provider who is
committed to learner success, give us a call, send us an email or visit
