The International Travel
College (ITC) is the premium supplier of training courses for the
airline, airport, travel and tourism industries. Winners of three New
Zealand Tourism Awards, a recognition made by the industry of our

with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), the International
Air Transport Association (IATA/UFTAA), CODECO, CabinCrew Direct,

All courses are approved
for student loans and allowances with the Ministry of Education, and
recognised and approved for student visas with the New Zealand
Immigration Service. The
College is also a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral
Care of International Students, which ensures that our high standards
are maintained and the needs of our international students are always
recognised. Students can be assured

Standards Organisation Accreditation, Certified under ISO 9001:2000. The

ITC has now
expanded with two branches; with the Main Campus located in the heart of
Auckland's academic area and our Botany Campus which is located within
the Botany Town Centre mall. Facilities are excellent, with computer
labs, lovely student lounge with open-air decks. Not forgetting our
brand new
Airport Training Centre (ATC) in our City Campus. The centre will be the
second of its kind in the country, the first having opened at ITC's
Botany Campus in 2009. The facilities are certainly something special -
ITC's huge airport training centres simulate real-world airports,
including check in, customs, gate lounges, and even planes where
students are trained in all aspects of in-flight service. Our Campuses
are superbly equipped, with suites of training rooms, computer labs,
free internet access, self study and recreation areas.

about the travel and tourism industry. The staff of 26 includes
the Managing Director, Campus Managers, Marketing Director, Account
Manager, Student Services Team Leader, and Recruitment Advisors.
Our tutorial team are
dedicated professionals and recognized experts, with many years of
experience in the airline, travel, tourism, hospitality and related
industries. They hold industry qualifications and are skilled adult
education educators, committed to helping our students achieve their
qualification and career goals. Their in-depth knowledge and experience
is brought to every class and program we offer. We are very proud of our

We offer unique job
placement assistance for all students. ITC achieves one of the highest
graduate placement rates annually. This outstanding rate is possible

Students can study
from National Certificate Level 3 up to a National Diploma NZQA Level 5.
With the new ATC centre we now run a course that is tailored for the
airport environment which is the Certificate in Aviation. We are now
running the Diploma in Advanced Travel and Tourism Management Level 6
which is a programme that is based on the Higher National Diploma (HND)
in Travel and Tourism Management, which is a well established
international qualification developed by Edexcel UK, who are the
awarding body for the qualification.
Course
durations range from 24 weeks to 2 years, and the College Student
Services team can help with enrolment procedures, visa applications, and
help with accommodation or other enquiries too.
An ITC qualification prepares
students for a wide range of jobs within the Airline, Travel and Tourism
industries. ITC students are working across all sectors of the
industries, including: travel consultant, flight attendant, tour guide,
reservations, fares & ticketing specialist, travel broker, Internet
travel agent, tour operator, tour leader, sales & marketing executive,
events organiser, Airport check-in agent, car rental agent, tour co-ordinator,
cruise consultant, foreign exchange, hotel receptionist. ITC is also
committed to helping students into work or further education, with their
dedicated Careers Advisor, a unique service offered to ITC students.
Tourism is a vibrant part of the New Zealand's economy, with more than
1.5 million international visitor arrivals into Auckland each year,
