Climate:Nicaragua has a predominantly tropical climate, alternating between two seasons: rainy and dry (winter and summer) . This is the result of its geographic location between 11 and 15 degrees latitude north and the humidity from both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans which give it a fairly stable season.
Language:Nicaraguan Spanish has many indigenous influences and several distinguishing characteristics. Until the 19th century, a hybrid form of Nahuat-Spanish was the common language of Nicaragua.
Currency:The c rdoba is the currency of Nicaragua. It is divided into 100 centavos.

Population:According to the CIA World Factbook, Nicaragua has a population of 5, 891, 199; comprising mainly 69% mestizo, 17% white, 5% Amerindian, 9.0% black and other races and this fluctuates with changes in migration patterns. The population is 84% urban.
