Learning Support Programme
Arc-en-Ciel International School is a private school situated at Lomé, Togo. It is composed of four sections: Kindergarten, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary. Located at three different sites, each section possesses a yard and large recreation and rest areas surrounded by flowers and trees.
This agreeable environment sets the tone for the first mission of the school: to offer quality teaching to train leaders who are capable of serving and improving the world. To attain this goal the school develops each student's moral and intellectual capacities so that they become agents of development in their communities. This vision of the school is based on the observation that today's world is becoming a 'global village'.
In effect, the students of the school are of various nationalities, religions and social status.
As a result, Arc-en-Ciel International School is an active member, among others, of the UNESCO Club-Associated Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Arc-en-Ciel International School aims to inspire the students with a global vision, at the same time as it helps them acquire moral and academic skills. The Junior Secondary Program welcomes students from sixth to ninth grade. The program is offered in French and the secondary languages are English and Spanish.
The Senior Secondary Program includes the tenth grade (a transition class), and two years of preparation for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Tennis, basketball and swimming are part of the program.
The school's infrastructure includes an Internet-connected multimedia computer room, modern laboratory facilities and a multilingual library.
