The schools are non-sectarian and co-educational. ACS Egham offers all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes – the IB Primary Years Programme (3 - 11), the IB Middle Years Programme (11 - 16) and the IB Diploma Programme (16 - 18). These programmes share a common philosophy and common characteristics: they develop the whole student, helping them to grow socially, physically, aesthetically, and culturally; and provide a broad and balanced education that includes science and the humanities, languages and mathematics, technology, physical education, and the arts. This academic programme challenges students to fulfil their potential, and offers a broad-based selection of courses and levels to meet individual needs and interests. An important characteristic of ACS Egham is individual attention to students’ needs facilitated by well-qualified, experienced, and sympathetic faculty; many of whom are IB examiners, moderators, and teacher trainers. The success of the programme is reflected in the 100% IB Diploma pass rate over the last six years, which has enabled graduates to continue their studies at top universities around the world, including the US and UK. Situated on a 20-acre campus approximately 25 miles from central London, ACS Egham enrols more than 550 students. The school has purpose-built computer labs, libraries, spacious classrooms, playgrounds and sports fields. To further enhance the teaching programme a new 21st century Visual Arts & Design Technology Centre has recently been opened. ACS Egham runs small class sizes which afford a greater opportunity for individual attention and support for various learning styles so that students are encouraged and challenged accordingly. Child Study Teams meet with individual student’s teachers, administrators and parents, to ensure that every child is appropriately challenged and supported. A Language Coordinator assists families in organising native language lessons after-school or, if possible, during the school day. ACS Egham offers extensive and varied extracurricular clubs and community service activities both locally and internationally, which encourage students to participate in the richness of school life. Students also participate in international theatre arts programmes, maths, literature and music competitions in the UK and across Europe. The Campus sports programme runs three seasons fielding teams in soccer, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, rugby, swimming, dance, tennis, track & field, baseball, softball and golf. The admissions team is available throughout the year to answer questions, book campus visits, and assist families through the enrolment process.
