The Isle of Man is one of the safest, cleanest and wealthiest societies in the World, blest with a stunning natural landscape. King William's College is situated overlooking the beach. Our aim is to educate our pupils to explore and to achieve, to take risks and to care, to be confident and civilised, to be liberal, broad-minded and outward-looking.

Exam results at IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB) are consistently high and far above the national average. Ranked 28th in the top UK IB schools in 2015, we introduced the IB in 2002 and are one of the most experienced IB schools in the UK. 30% of students achieved Oxbridge offer level points in 2015. Our students go on to leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL and universities in the US and Europe.

The boarding community represents around 30% of the College, approximately half of the boarders are from overseas. This vibrant, friendly and creative community adds so much to the College as a whole. They foster friendships which will last a lifetime.

The pupils follow a broad curriculum of sporting activities competing in the major sports against Island and UK schools. Every three years, the senior Rugby and Hockey teams embark on an impressive world sports tour. Golf, rock climbing and sailing are among the wide variety of sports on offer.

The arts thrive at KWC. Recent years have seen an eclectic range of drama productions, from shows such as 'The Winter's Tale' to the Sixth Form devised production of 'Unthinkable', live streaming from the National Theatre, Royal Opera & Ballet, numerous musical events and workshops through out the year and our recently opened Kitto arts studio provides a wonderful working exhibition space.

"I will never forget the school that was well worth travelling 5000 miles for."
