King's School of English (London), established in 1966, is part of the well-known King's English Language Schools, with centres in Bournemouth and Oxford as well as London.
The school is recognised by the
British Council and is also a member of the Association of Recognised English Language Services (ARELS).
We are also a member of the South East England Tourist Board.
We offer a full range of English courses from elementary to advanced examination courses from 2 - 50 weeks. There are full-time intensive and semi-intensive courses and vacation courses in the summer. We can also provide family accommodation. There are supporting leisure and lecture programmes.

is the only language school in Beckenham, a pleasant residential suburb of south-east London, green and safe without the noise, expense and uncertainties of the city centre. We offer full and part-time courses throughout the year for foreign adults from all over the world wherever there is a need for the English Language as a means of international communication. Beckenham is part of the London Borough of Bromley, the largest and one of the most affluent.
King's School consists of two well-maintained Victorian buildings with 18 classrooms, some with video facilities, and a delightful garden. Our facilities include:

Is it easy to get to central London?

There are several overground train stations that serve the centre of London up to four times an hour. The travelling time is 10 to 25 minutes station to station. The Paris /Brussels Eurostar trains arrive at Waterloo International, only 25 minutes from Beckenham. We sell travelcards at school. London's main airports are only about an hour away.
What is there to do in Beckenham?
There are many small cafes, restaurants and pubs with music here. Opposite the school there is also a free public library, a leisure /sports centre and a contemporary arts centre. There are four parks within 20 minutes' walk in this area, one with an 18-hole golf course and another with tennis courts. An excellent indoor shopping mall is situated a 10-minute bus ride away from the school.
