Located in the 12th Century St Donat's Castle in the United Kingdom, UWC Atlantic College is the founding college of a global education movement and international residential school. Each year, over 350 students aged 15 -19 years old from over 90 different countries benefit from a world-class educational experience.

Transformational Education

The curriculum is influenced by the mission and values of the UWC movement. It has two distinct programmes: the Atlantic pre-Diploma, an International General Certificate of Secondary Education one year course for 15 - 16 year olds and, the Atlantic Diploma, the International Baccalaureate and a co-curricular programme of experiential learning, a two year course for 16 - 19 year olds.

The college has an excellent academic record with the 84% of the Atlantic Pre-Diploma cohort receiving 'A* - C' grade in 2015 and 87% of the Diploma candidates receiving points above the world average of 30.32 (out of the maximum 45).

The education received at the college is highly valued by many of the world's leading universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. Deans of Admission from Ivy League universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Yale and Brown visit annually to interview students.

Campus and Facilities

St Donat's Castle houses classrooms, a performance hall, dining hall and a library. Also on campus are student boarding houses, well-equipped science laboratories, computer facilities, music practice rooms, a theatre, two swimming pools, a student social centre and an independent arts centre.

Graduates emerge committed, motivated, socially responsible and internationally aware, with the potential to make a real and lasting difference in the world.
