School Introduction Annie Wright School is and old and prestigious private girls' boarding school in the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1884, it houses a co-ed lower and middle school and an all-girls' Upper School. About 25% of the Upper School consists of international students from all over the world. While boarding in the residential section of the school, these girls attend rigorous ESL classes and, along with other domestic students, both boarding and day, take college preparatory high school courses.
ESL Program Introduction
Our Intensive Summer Institute serves to introduce students to Annie Wright by providing them with a smorgasboard of classes in ESL, American Culture, Science, Math, Social Studies, and the Arts, all with a focus on the ESL learner. Centered on students in grades 6 through 9, the Intensive Summer Institute combines intensive study, the residential life experience, cultural field trips, and fun into a well-rounded program for the international student.
Our expansive campus, state-of-the-art curriculum, and caring, professional teachers and staff make the Institute a truly great summer experience.
