Currently, the school has three campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and a fourth is under construction. The Fundino Pre-school campus and a small primary campus operate from downtown locations whilst the larger An Phu campus is located in a quiet suburban area close to the Saigon River. This beautiful campus (opened in August 2002) caters for students from Preschool through to Secondary and was designed in the style of traditional French colonial-type architecture and provides state-of-the-art educational facilities. A new campus is currently under construction near the An Phu Campus and will become the dedicated Secondary School when completed early in 2005. The British International School, Ho Chi Minh City operates within the framework of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and is a registered centre for Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). Students are prepared for IGCSE and A-level examinations. The school delivers a 'Foundation Programme', offering an alternative pathway to undergraduate courses at universities in Australia, New Zealand, USA and the UK via the ‘Global Assessment Certificate’. The school provides a broad and balanced curriculum and delivers a differentiated curriculum to meet the wide-ranging needs of the students by setting challenging but achievable targets. Each campus of British International School, Ho Chi Minh City is well-resourced and staffed by qualified and experienced teachers most of whom are from the UK or have British curriculum experience. English speaking Vietnamese teaching assistants, many of whom are qualified teachers in their own right, work throughout the school.
